   The Lamborghini Gallardo is approaching the end of its stroke model, with a brand new model, probably called Cabrera, waiting in the wings. Despite his impending retirement, the Gallardo supercar is still a significant, thanks to the efforts of Lamborghini to keep it fresh and rich in features.
   
   
   A series of special editions with different melodies of engines and transmission configurations are available for the end of the race of the Gallardo. Some examples include the new song inspired Gallardo LP 570-4 Racing Team, the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, the LP 560-4, the LP 550-2, the LP 570-4 Spyder Performante, the LP 560- 4 LP 550-2 Spyder and Spyder.
   
   
   As is always the case with a modern Lamborghini, the first number indicates the power meter, and the second number of drive wheels. Other descriptors are equally simple: a Spyder is a convertible, and the Superleggera and tag performance Translate from Italian to "super light" and "high performance", respectively.
   
   
   Whatever the configuration of power output or the unit, all Gallarados use the same 5.2-liter V-10 engine base. Models with the designation -2 do not get four-wheel drive, but all other models do. The models get -2 instead RWD. All models come standard with the "march and" robotised sequential transmission with paddle-shift.
   
   
   The Gallardo is fast: you can get to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and continue to a top speed of over 200 mph.
   
   
   Despite the emphasis on statistics and skills, however, the Gallardo, Lamborghini like every other, is more than just performance. It is design, style, and presence; it is the way it makes you feel and the way the head is spinning. The Gallardo does not get the dramatic scissor-opening doors Aventador ago, but his angular profile and low barking exhaust note work side by side.
   
   
   Inside the Gallardo, you will find a compact, high-performance space theme. Not much room for loose items or big gulps, and mounted in the front luggage compartment, there is little room for luggage for a weekend. Getting in and out is not easy due to the low position, although the Spyder models make the transition more vertical than horizontal, facilitating the process. Despite the lack of space and creature comforts, the cabin is well appointed, with quality materials and precision construction.
   
   
   And 'far from practical, but already knew. The question is whether, after nearly a decade on the market, the Gallardo still cuts a striking figure you're after - especially with a replacement waiting in the wings.
