Now in its second generation, the Porsche Panamera is a surprising combination of large luxury sedan and high performance sports cars. With its large and truly usable back seat, luxurious interiors, and exceptional dynamics, as well as a range of power of a hybrid plug-in for almost a turbo supercar, the Panamera offers a lot of love for a wide range of buyers .

On the other hand, the Panamera looks polarizing - especially in the back - and easily spiral out of control of prices, if not lay a hand on wise purchase options sheet. The long roof line and the arc near the back should draw unconscious associations with the 911, but instead seems awkward. From most of the other angles, the overall effect is charming, if a little 'super-sized for a Porsche. Touches sportscar cabin are welcome; there is a button or knob for almost every function, so there is muddling around with touchscreen controls. At the rear, the Panamera is an executive sedan, with plenty of space and functionality.

From the base and Panamera 4 models, now sporting 310 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque from a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V-6 engine, the Panamera Turbo to 520 horsepower from a 4.8-liter engine twin-turbo V-8, for the new Panamera S Hybrid e-416 horses from an electric motor of 95 horsepower and a 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 combo, there's plenty of pep at any point of the range, with space for the upgrade for those looking get more -up-and-go.


A new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 powers the Panamera S, Panamera 4S and Panamera 4S models Executive, rated at 420 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. We expect that this will become the new base engine soon as Porsche plans in advance for a small sedan in its lineup.
