3. 2015 Ford Fusion is one of the most appealing vehicles in its segment, and is proof that good design and intentions families are not always mutually exclusive.

   
   

   Even two years after its redesign, no one but the Mazda 6 bring the same kind of bold image which is located in the mid-size Ford Fusion. And 'beautiful, athletic, high-tech, and fuel consumption, which makes it a very interesting consideration for the mid-size sedan shopper. That's why we named our 2013 Best Car buying.

   
   

   For this model year, the Fusion sees a handful of new standard and optional features, as well as a package of style Terra Cotta available for SE and Titanium internal model. One feature we really liked - the option manual transmission - was eliminated.

   
   

   If you choose to look at every single detail or the sum of its parts, the design of the Fusion is a standout for styling sedan at any price. The appearance is half Hyundai, Half-Aston Martin, with its hexagonal grille, and we see the sleek roofline of the Audi A7 in his rear quarters. In profile, is 100 percent Ford, although falling perfectly with other brand vehicles. The interior combines quality materials with advanced technologies, which are all controlled from the center console-like tablet.

   
   

   The cabin of the Fusion is not camped silhouette sexy, either. It 'a bit' more complex than in the past, with a pace much longer, which adds up to more legroom around. Front seats thinner and firmer also help bring a lot more space back seat; and even the basics manual front seats are very comfortable and supportive. Headroom is great, provided you avoid the optional sunroof. And on the whole it is an interior that gives a feeling of quality, with excellent materials everywhere you look (and feel) great noise vibration damping and quelling, and sounds satisfactory as you open and close the doors. The trunk is 16 cubic meters, great for the class, and the merger has ample storage all around the cabin, with a storage space under the center console, bottle holders in the doors, and a storage compartment of adequate size.

   
   

   The safety assessment is excellent. Five stars from the federal government more IIHS Top Safety Pick + status, as well as safety features such as knee airbags front and hands-free Bluetooth standard, combine to give a lot of reassurance. And for 2015, the system of inflatable rear seat belts that was offered on some of the crossover Ford is now available on Fusion.

   
   

   The engine at the grassroots level, a 178-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder, does not come close to making, as well as design libertine suggests, but it is adequate with the six-speed automatic. If we want the performance of a V-6, in essence, we would head straight for the 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four, with its 240 hp and 270 Nm of torque.
