The new Alpine A110-50 concept takes design elements from the iconic Berlinette (A 110) and gives them a modern interpretation. The new concept includes the new Renault design language introduced by Laurens van den Acker with the DeZir concept car.The concept will be recognized immediately thanks to its sleek, flowing body painted in a very cool blue which refreshes and reinterprets the famous original 'Alpine Blue. "In attack, Renault has added another half dome lamps with full LED yellow, while the main striking feature in the rear is the rear window 3D and vents on both sides which echo the ducts on the rear wheel arches. The doors are equipped with a scissor movement and the whole body is made of carbon fiber.
The concept is a two-seater model with the internal elements that combines carbon fiber with a black paint quite cool. Features of the driver's seat embroidered 'Renault Alpine A 110-50 "and is equipped with seat Sabelt full harness and alternate, interesting shades of blue. The wheel of the concept comes with the same technology as a Formula Renault 3.5 single-seater and includes a color screen.
Under the hood of this awesome concept, there is a 3.5-liter V6 24-valve mounted in the rear-center. The engine delivers a total of 400 HP and is equipped with a sequential gearbox six-speed semi-automatic, as well as a double-plate clutch that can be controlled using the clutch pedal or paddle on the steering wheel.
The new A110-50 Concept has been developed by Renault Sport Technologies, so of course, there are a lot of racing components installed. It was developed on the platform of racecar Mega Megane Trophy, but the tubular chassis of the Renault Alpine A 110-50 has been stiffened and has undergone several developments.
The roll-bar and reinforcement in the engine compartment have been changed (lowered) so that the concept now offers an almost ideal weight distribution: 47.8% on the front wheels. The step of Renault Alpine Renault Alpine A 110-50 is identical to that of the Megane Trophy (2625 mm), while the track is slightly wider at the front and rear 1680 mm 1690 mm. The concept sits on a new set of 21 "wheels combined with Sachs shock absorbers adjustable in compression and rebound.
